Zync has turned its attention towards the phablet market with the Zync Cloud Z5 that carries an affordable price tag, after designing a number of tablets. The hybrid device is blessed with a huge 5-inch display and boasts of an intuitive user interface, thanks to the Android 4.0.3 platform.
The lightweight slab that tips the scales at 192 grams, measures not more than 7 inches in thickness. Its sleek profile supports a huge display that offers multi-touch real estate of 5 inches. This capacitive TFT screen can project clear, vivid images in 480 x 800p resolution. In order to ensure smooth navigation and support for multiple applications at the same time, the device has been integrated with a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. It draws power from a 2500mAh battery.
Furthermore, the Cloud Z5 smartphone-tablet hybrid is packaged along with a 4GB memory card and features 4GB internal memory. Users have the option to insert a microSD card to hoard digital content of up to 32GB capacity. There is built-in Wi-Fi for wireless internet access and support for GPRS and 3G networks. Mobile hotspot and tethering are also supported, while wireless file transfers are facilitated through Bluetooth.
