The Zync Z18 has landed in the Indian tablet scene, equipped with voice calling capabilities and an unimpressive specifications sheet. But the fact that it grabs a Rs 6009 price tag would definitely get those looking for cheap hardware interested in it.
It has been granted a dual core processor that is clocked at 1.5GHz, apart from 512MB worth of RAM. This slate features a 7-inch display on its front surface, producing a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The tried and tested Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS finds its way into it, aside from a rechargeable 2500mAh Li-Ion power unit.
Zync has blessed the Z18 with a 4GB internal storage module, while also granting it support for expandability of up to 32GB by means of a microSD card slot. At its rear, it houses a 2MP camera, while its front surface kicks in a 0.3MP snapper for video calling purposes. This Wi-Fi-enabled slate only offers 2G support and has its dimensions measuring 189mm x 109mm x 10.3mm.
