The ZTE Concord T-Mobile, a phone that does not burn a huge hole in the pocket, is now up for grabs through Walmart. The device will soon be made available via Target and does not require customers to sign up for an annual contract.
According to the company, it is the most affordable smartphone from the network provider and has been designed for first-time users. This Android-based handset supports no-contract plans such as Walmart Family Mobile that runs on T-Mobile’s nationwide network and T-Mobile Monthly4G which comprises ‘worry-free data’ as well as unlimited text and talk.
This ZTE phone operates with the help of the Android Gingerbread OS and offers access to various social networking websites on the move. The device’s expansion slot allows increasing the memory using a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity and it can cough up the juice for talk time of about 8.5 hours.
Encased in a sleek exterior drenched in a midnight blue color, this handset’s front panel is dominated by a capacitive display that provides a multi-touch real estate of 3.5 inches. Its flip side sports a 2MP camera that can be used for clicking still shots as well as recording videos. Since the phone’s classified as a 3G gadget, T-Mobile’s 4G service probably won’t look too fetching to users.
The ZTE Concord T-Mobile price and availability details have been chalked out. It can now be picked up from Walmart with the Family Mobile Plan and carries a price tag of $99.99. Target is expected to stock up on it with the Monthly4G plan from August 26 onwards, for the same price.
