Among the Yurekas, the Yuphorias and the Yuniques, the new Yu Yutopia will not feel at home as it’s supposed to be a super high-end device. In fact, its makers will be positioning it as the ‘world’s most powerful smartphone,’ which is bound to kick off a few debates every now and then after it’s out.
The Yu Yutopia is supposed to hit the market just in time for the Diwali shopping rush. This means that the phone could be unveiled by the Micromax-owned company sometime next month.
Sources in the know of BGR India, who are apparently working on the device have disclosed that the brief given to them was to manufacture the ‘world’s most powerful smartphone in India.’ This also indicates that the Yutopia will be made in India itself.
It’s most likely that Yu CEO Rahul Sharma was talking about this particular handset when he recently tweeted about the ‘Real Beast’ of a smartphone which the company is about to launch. It’s hard not to believe that this particular offering will be the Yu 5050 unit that was leaked a few weeks ago.
Here’s a neat look at the probable specs of the new Yu Yutopia:
– Display: 5.2-inch, 1080p full HD
– OS: Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS
– Processor: Octa core Snapdragon 810
– GPU: Adreno 430
– Memory: 4GB RAM
– Cameras: 21MP rear, 8MP front

It is said to feature a 5.2-inch display bearing a 1080p full HD resolution. This device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with an Adreno 430 GPU and a whopping 4GB of RAM. It’s bound to be a dual SIM 4G offering as well. A 21MP rear camera and an 8MP front snapper are also expected to be present on this device.
We’ll keep fishing for newer information about the Yu Yutopia smartphone; so make sure to keep coming back to this space for more.
