We’ll finally be able to see the fruits of all the hype Micromax-owned Yu has been creating about its Yutopia smartphone. Not too long ago, the company had begun teasing this handset as the ‘world’s most powerful smartphone,’ and it’s now ready to showcase it to us on December 7.
Yu has started sending press invites to an event in New Delhi which will be seeing the launch of the Yutopia on the above mentioned date. This invite reads ‘The real beast is coming to town on 7.12.15’ and features the hastag #Yutopia.
Not much is known about the device, except for the fact that it’s going to be an extremely high-end offering. It could very well be the first ever smartphone from Yu to be priced above the Rs 20000 mark.
A recent teaser has suggested that the phone will opt for a whopping 4GB worth of RAM. The Yutopia has also been revealed to be the beneficiary of fast charging support and at least 32GB of internal storage space. We’re not quite sure about the processor which this Yu phone will adopt, but the Snapdragon 810 model is the most likely choice.
Since the phone is being advertised as a beast, it would be safe to assume that a Quad HD monitor will form part of its offerings. Like all Yu handsets, it will ship with the Android-based Cyanogen OS onboard. Whether this will be based on Lollipop or Marshmallow is something worth looking forward to.

The most important aspect about the Yu Yutopia will of course be its price. Let us now wait until December 7 to see what it will be.
