Yu might be getting ready to launch a successor to the Yureka Plus soon if a fresh set of leaks are to be believed. All signs point to this thanks to the appearance of a new handset sporting the name YU5200 on import/export website Zauba.
According to the listing, the possible Yu Yureka Plus sequel is priced at Rs 9036. Keep in mind that this is probably not going to be its final retail value and may change when it’s officially launched. Still, the figure indicates the phone will be a budget offering like its predecessor.
As far as specs go, the upcoming Yu smartphone is set to pack a 5.2-inch screen, 4G connectivity and dual-SIM support. More details can be found over at the GFXBench site, where a phone with the same YU5200 model number has been spotted with a more complete list of features.
The page reveals that the YU5200 will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and features a resolution of 1080p on its 5.2-inch screen. The handset additionally tackles it operations with the help of a 1.6GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and an Adreno 405 GPU.
In terms of memory, the Yu phone contains 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal space. Users will be able to expand on the latter via a microSD card slot. Coming to its camera skills, the device carries a 13MP autofocus shooter accompanied by LED flash. The unit is paired with a 5MP front-facing snapper which can record 1080p videos.
To recall, the Yu Yureka Plus came out in July last year. If these leaks are accurate, the smartphone’s sequel might feature a very similar set of specs. Notable differences lie in the newer phone’s smaller 5.2-inch screen and greater 3GB of RAM.
