We all use YouTube for watching sharing our videos and watching those made by others too. Everybody must be wondering when and where his/her clip is being watched. To answer these questions Google has come up with a new feature for YouTube users.
The new feature named YouTube Insight enables users to view detailed statistics about the videos that they upload. Analysis such as how often their videos are viewed in different geographic regions or clip’s popularity would be shown to users over a given period of time.
Also users can see the lifecycle, like how long it takes for a video to become popular, and what happens to video views as popularity peaks etc. of their videos.
Insight will allow users to know viewing trends of their videos on YouTube and will also help them to increase views and become more popular.
This new YouTube Insight feature is available for free for all YouTube users, partners, and advertisers.
Partners will be able to evaluate metrics to better serve and understand their audiences and increase ad revenue. On the other hand advertisers can study their metrics and successes to tailor their marketing both on and off the site and reach the right viewers.
