Yahoo has announced Shine, a new website targeted at women all over the world. It is mainly aimed at users aged between 25 and 54.
Shine will contain articles from few women’s magazines and female bloggers. Such sources of the articles will include Glamour, Epicurious.com, Style.com, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Women’s Health, and Good Housekeeping.
Eight editors will look after the different sections of the website such as home, parenting, fashion, culture, and career. While the Brandon Holley former editor in chief of Jane magazine, will play the role of the editor in chief of Shine.

Also women are offered to blog and share their own views on Shine.
“This is really a key audience for Yahoo. We’ve been calling them ‘chief household officers’ internally,” said Amy Iorio, general manager of Lifestyles at Yahoo.
