On Wednesday, Yahoo! released a version of its Yahoo! Go service for the Windows Mobile platform, widening the portal’s spectrum of mobile offerings. Initially the service was only available for Nokia and Motorola phones.
“Today’s launch increases the number of consumers who can use Yahoo! Go for Mobile to stay connected to their community of friends, personalized content and favorite Internet services,” said Marco Boerries, senior vice president, connected life, Yahoo! “We are making it even easier for more consumers to take the Yahoo! experience with them on their mobile phone.”

Go for Mobile on Windows Mobile-powered phones will allow our customers to bring their favorite Yahoo! services to the devices they already rely on.”
Yahoo! Go for Mobile, was first launched earlier this year, as an integrated suite of Yahoo’s services including Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Search and Yahoo! Photos that gives consumers quick access to their personalized Internet content on their mobile phone.
Yahoo! has also signed global distribution deals with device manufacturers to reach millions of additional consumers by embedding Yahoo! Go for Mobile on select devices.
