Xolo has launched a new mid-range phablet for the Indian market under the Q2100 moniker and it plans to make the device available at Rs 13499. What sets this phone apart from the competition in the same price range is that it comes with a fingerprint sensor pre-loaded to lock your device and its contents.
Well, Xolo isn’t the first Indian OEM to deliver a handset with a fingerprint reader onboard. The Rs 13999 iberry Auxus Note 5.5 has earned that title, while the Swipe Sense is the cheapest in this category costing just Rs 9999. The Xolo Q2100 makes a fairly good bargain at the aforementioned price. You get an attractive looking phone with many alluring features.
The screen on the front spans 5.5 inches wide and it offers visuals in 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. The IPS touch display is coated with Gorilla Glass 3 for better protection. On the inside, the phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor with Mali 400 MP2 graphics. There’s also 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and a 2800mAh batter which can deliver up to 22 hours of 3G talk time.

The fingerprint sensor isn’t the only unique feature of the Q2100. The phone also tags along an IR Blaster which when combined with the Peel Smart Remote app, enables you to use the phone as a remote control to operate your TV, DVR, DVD player, air conditioner and other devices.
