With high performance handsets now cheaper than before, Indian OEM are trying hard to make their entry-level options more attractive, such is the case with the Xolo Q700 Club. The smartphone looks like your average release, but it comes with a few nifty features that make it a great pick.
First and foremost, the handset is designed with dual front-facing stereo speakers, a concept which was popularized by HTC. Secondly, there’s IP55 water and dust resistance which makes the phone strong enough to withstand jets of water and even rain, but we recommend not taking it for a swim. The Xolo Q700 Club was previous spotted on the company’s website at Rs 6999 and has now been made available for Rs 6899.
As you can see, these two attributes do bump the overall cost up by a bit as you’d normally get a mid-range device is the same price range. Xolo is offering here a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, a VGA secondary snapper and a 5MP main shooter on the exterior.
The innards comprise of a 1.3GHz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, a microSD card slot and a 2000mAh battery which can deliver around 21 hours of talk time or approximately 600 hours of standby on 2G. Additionally, the Xolo phone is a pretty bulky one measuring 10.8mm.
