With Apple having gone back to 4-inch screens, it’s only natural for its competitors to do the same and Xiaomi it seems is ready with its offering. Its answer to the iPhone SE is apparently a 4.3-inch handset that runs on nothing less than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
The image you’re seeing in the space above is apparently of the said Xiaomi phone. Of course, there’s some ambiguity attached to this as the phone could very well be a Mi 5, but there are other details available about this device as well, giving it a little more credibility.
According to a post on China’s Weibo, Xiaomi has reportedly blessed this mini smartphone with a 4.3-inch 720p HD display and a fingerprint scanner. Its Snapdragon 820 processor is said to be accompanied by 3GB worth of RAM. Additionally, there’s 32GB worth of storage onboard as well, which is something the iPhone SE does not offer on its base model.

Although, this device has been revealed to feature a 13MP main camera, it has apparently given optical image stabilization a miss. Size constraints could very well be the main reason for this. However, the inclusion of a Snapdragon 820 chipset hints at 4K video support being onboard the gadget.
In contrast, the iPhone SE offers a 12MP shooter and an A9 processor which gives the handset its 4K shooting abilities. This Apple offering will be released in the US and other major territories on March 31 at $400, and will be available in India on April 8 at Rs 39000.
As for the price of the newly unearthed Xiaomi phone, it will supposedly be out this June at 1799 Yuan which translates into $275 or Rs 18400.
