The Redmi Note 6 Pro has just gotten its first major leak. Noted tipster Roland Quandt has tweeted the phone’s price, memory variants, and colors.
The handset’s appearance comes as a bit of a surprise since it’s only been about 6 months since the Redmi Note 5 Pro made its debut in India. According to Quandt, the device’s sequel is coming soon in 3GB of RAM + 32GB of ROM and 4GB of RAM + 64GB of ROM options.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Price
The Redmi Note 6 Pro is apparently going to be sold in gold, blue and black paint jobs. The phone is probably going to be priced at around EUR 200 – EUR 250 (roughly Rs 16450 – Rs 20570) in Eastern Europe. It may be cheaper in other regions. For comparison, its previous variant starts at Rs 14999 for 4GB/64GB of memory.
Quandt also thinks the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available in more color choices and storage configurations in other markets. Sadly, he doesn’t have any info about its other specifications or appearance. This might change over the coming weeks, so we’ll have to wait and see what turns up in the rumor mills.

In related news, the Xiaomi Mi 8 might be going international. A report from earlier this month claimed that the device is going to arrive in India at some point in the next couple of weeks. It could be available at around Rs 30000. It’s not clear which version of the smartphone is going to launch in the country.
Xiaomi had unveiled 3 different variants of the Mi 8 namely a standard Mi 8, a Mi 8 Explorer Edition, and a Mi 8 SE back in May 2018. There is some skepticism around this news since the company hasn’t brought its flagship products to India for a couple of years now. Perhaps it’s changed its mind seeing the success of phones like the OnePlus 6 in India.
