It’s time now for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G smartphone to go on sale in India, and December 30 is the date on which that will happen. Today saw the latest flash sale of the Redmi 1S going online, and as usual, the device went out of stock within a very small amount of time.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note took an exit owing to a Delhi High Court ban on the company’s devices, but the Chinese firm bounced back and managed to gain back the right to at least sell devices running Snapdragon processors. That is why instead of the Redmi Note 3G which features a Mediatek unit, the Note 4G with its Snapdragon 400 CPU is being introduced now.
The handset will cost Rs 9999, and will offer just one SIM card slot. Other specifics about its hardware will be same as those of the Redmi Note’ 3G variant which we reviewed a while back. That means a 5.5-inch 720p HD display will be highlighting its offerings, apart from a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front snapper.
Xiaomi has blessed the device with a 2GB RAM module and 8GB worth of storage which can be expanded further up to 64GB. A 3100mAh battery powers the smartphone from within.
A quick glance at the specs of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G:
– Display: 5.5-inch, 720p HD

– OS: Android 4.4 KitKat-based MIUI ROM

Flipkart has now started taking registrations for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G model’s December 30 sale. This variant is also expected to be sold by Airtel through its offline channels.
