The launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 seems to be right around the corner, what with all the leaks that are plaguing the Chinese company these days. Two more alleged pictures of the upcoming device have leaked, and this time it’s seen sitting beside a Meizu MX5, perhaps to highlight how similar both look.
Apparent pictures of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 had leaked a few days ago as well, and the new images which come from Gizmo China are well in line with them. As you can see in the space down below, the rear chassis of the handset is strikingly similar to what the back panel of the Meizu MX5 looks like.
The Redmi Note 2 however is differentiated by a circular cutout that rests beneath its camera module. It doesn’t take much effort to guess that this outline is meant for a fingerprint scanner. So, the device is all set to the the first one from its maker to sport this attribute, unless of course the Mi 5 is launched before it.
Other specifications of this Xiaomi smartphone have been leaked in the past as well. They include a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display and the Android 5.0 Lollipop-based MIUI 6. 2GB worth of RAM will supposedly be present on it as well, apart from a 13MP main camera. There are lots of different predictions as to what processor it will run on, but it’s certain that it will support 4G LTE networks.
A neat look at the leaked specs of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 2:
– Display: 5.5-inch, 1080p full HD
– OS: Android 5.0 Lollipop-based MIUI 6
– Memory: 2GB RAM
– Cameras: 13MP rear, 5MP front
– Battery: 3000mAh
We’ll have more on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 when we hear any additional details about it; so stay tuned until then.
