60000 units of the Xiaomi Redmi 1S were put on sale by Flipkart today, and it’s no surprise that all of them were snapped up in a matter of seconds or 5.2, to be exact. This is the fourth such flash sale for this handset, and all three prior times had also seen the smartphone vanish in seconds off the e-retailer’s site.
It was Manu Kumar Jain from Xiaomi India who tweeted this news this time instead of Hugo Barra. The first such sale of the Xiaomi Redmi 1S (Review) had seen 40000 units of the device go out of stock in just 4.2 seconds. On the other hand, the second and third sales had witnessed the same number of handsets vanish in 4.5 seconds and 3.4 seconds, respectively.
And now that the fourth sale has been completed, preparations for the fifth one have already started.
