Xiaomi has been dedicatedly teasing its upcoming Mi Mix 2S launch with a number of posters and social media hints. It’s now dropped a couple of images showing off the handset almost in full in the hands of the phone’s ambassador, Kris Wu.
Based on the posters, it seems Xiaomi will be sticking to mostly the same design as before. The Mi Mix 2S doesn’t appear to have a selfie camera notch at the top-right corner as some rumors have predicted as the top part of the phone is free of any interruptions.
The front-facing snapper will probably be found at its usual spot in the bottom-right corner of the Mi Mix 2S. The unusual position has come under some criticism in the past since the placement makes it slightly more complicated to take a selfie what with hands frequently getting in the way.

The back of the Xiaomi smartphone hasn’t been shown, so there’s no way to confirm whether it’ll have vertical dual rear cameras as has been previously leaked. The company recently confirmed that the device would support wireless charging, making it the first handset by the firm to support the feature.
As per the latest rounds of leaks, the Mi Mix 2S is going to pack 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM inside. This info comes from an image of the stickers for the phone’s retail boxes. The brand usually launches multiple storage variants, so you can expect more options to be announced come March 27.
