Xiaomi has officially launched the Mi Max Prime in India a few months after promising to do so when the regular variant had hit the country. The new model has been launched as part of the brand’s Diwali with Mi sale extravaganza which is set to go on till October 19.
In terms of availability, the Mi Max Prime can be purchased at Rs 19999 via Amazon India and Xiaomi’s own site. Its previous variant is currently being sold Rs 1000 cheaper than its standard price at Rs 13999 during the latter’s festive sale.
The Mi Max Prime sports nearly the same set of specs as the older model except in a few key areas. For instance, the newer iteration packs 128GB of internal space and 4GB of RAM, while the older one contains 32GB of room and 3GB of RAM. The first further gets things done with a faster Snapdragon 652 processor in place of the second’s Snapdragon 650 SoC.
