Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Max 3 has shown up in multiple variants on TENAA, revealing nearly all its specs in the process. Unfortunately, the listings don’t include any images to give us an idea of what it’ll look like.
The 3 separate models of the Mi Max 3 are called the M1804E4T, M1804E4A, and M1804E4C. The trio has most of their specs in common and will probably only differ in terms of memory. RAM options include 3GB, 4GB and 6GB of RAM, while ROM options include 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of ROM.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Rumored Specs
The Xiaomi M1804E4C appears to have a 5MP front-facing camera. This is a bit different from the M1804E4T and M1804E4A which carry 8MP selfie shooters. On the flip side, all 3 appear to have a 12MP + 8MP dual-lens setup. Each additionally seems to possess a huge 6.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2160mAh.
The Mi Max 3 pairs this massive screen with an equally massive 5400mAh battery, as per the listing. It’s no surprise that the phone is apparently a bit heavy at 221g. It supposedly measures 176.15 x 87.4 x 7.99mm all around.
Powering all this is a 1.8GHz octa-core processor of unknown make. It’ll probably be a Qualcomm SoC, either the Snapdragon 710 or 636. A couple of TPU cases for the Mi Max 3 recently came to light online. They indicate that the dual cameras will switch to a vertical orientation, going against what’s been suggested by earlier leaks.
The leak also confirms the Xiaomi smartphone’s rear-facing fingerprint reader. Other details like volume rockers, power button, and 3.5mm headphone jack can also be spotted.
No price details have made their way to the internet yet, but we expect the Mi Max 3 will stick close to its budget roots. The device will probably make its debut in July.
