Xiaomi’s Mi Max 3 has appeared over and over again in the rumor mills of late. The latest piece of information reveals its potential price in China.
As per the leak, the Mi Max 3 might set buyers back by CNY 1699. This translates to roughly Rs 17625 in India, not taking taxes and import duties into account. The listing appears to be for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM variant of the smartphone.

Xiaomi is probably going to launch 3 versions of the device. One may contain 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM, the second might pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, and the third may get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM.
The last model may be dubbed the Mi Max 3 Pro. Other than having more memory, it also reportedly boasts of a faster Snapdragon 710 processor. The other iterations are expected to get a Snapdragon 636 SoC.
This leak is a bit different from earlier rumors. Speculation so far has suggested a 5400mAh battery inside the Xiaomi phone. However, the listing above mentions a 5500mAh battery. We’re not sure which report to believe right now.

The Mi Max 3 is likely going to feature specs like a 6.99-inch FHD+ minimal bezel screen and an AI-powered dual-camera setup. There’s also mention of stereo speaker support. If true, this would be a first for the series. It makes sense from a consumer point of view since the change will help make it a more compelling multimedia phone.
Xiaomi has been teasing a couple of different dates of late. There’s a new phone coming out on June 28 and another global event taking place in Madrid on July 24. It’s not clear whether either of these occasions will see the launch of the Mi Max 3.
