We’ve been hearing about the Xiaomi Mi Band 1S since quite some time now, and it’s unveiling date is upon us at last it seems. November 7 could very well be the date on which the fresh wearable will be showcased by the Chinese firm, while it’s expected to be made available for purchase on November 11.
One of the prime features of the Mi Band 1S will be its incorporation of a heart rate monitor. A trait that’s usually adopted by high-end gadgets, this will give the Xiaomi device a big edge over competition, especially because we know that the company will be selling it at an extremely low price, which is sort of its trademark.
According to Giz China, a report from China is saying that the Mi Band 1S will have its price set at 99 Yuan, rather than 69 Yuan which is how much its predecessor costs in the country. If translated, the new retail value comes up to $15 or Rs 1025.
Not surprisingly, Xiaomi has chosen November 11 to be it release date since it’s also Singles Day. This actually happens to be biggest day for online shopping in the country.
For those unaware, the Mi Band is a simple fitness accessory which can be paired up with your smartphone in order to give you a detailed breakdown of your health and workout information. A battery that can last for up to 30 days is its biggest highlight, while it even offers traits like sleep-tracking, notification vibrations and more.
Let us now wait until tomorrow to see whether the Xiaomi Mi Band 1S is indeed unveiled by the company.
