The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite just came to our attention last week and it’s already popped up again, this time for sale. AliExpress is vending the handset way ahead of its July 24 launch in Spain where it’s scheduled to come out alongside the Mi A2.
Last week’s leak came from a third-party Polish seller who had listed the Mi A2 Lite at PLN 999 (roughly Rs 19529) and has since taken down the page. AliExpress appears to be actually selling the phone right now starting at $189.99 (approx Rs 12972) for the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM version.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Price
There’s another $209.99 (about Rs 14337) Mi A2 Lite variant which offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. There’s a big price difference between the European and Chinese rates. We’re not sure which one is more accurate. The disparity could be explained away by considering taxes and customs duties.
Interestingly, the page says it’ll take around 41 to 51 days for the Mi A2 Lite to ship. The information listed seems to be legit, complete with official-looking Xiaomi graphics talking about the device’s features and a list of specs.
One of the biggest highlights of the Mi A series is its support for Google’s Android One program. The software guarantees a pure version of the OS and at least 2 years of OS updates. The Mi A2 is actually the global iteration of the Mi 6X, with the main change being the software inside.
