Xiaomi Mi 4c will adopt USB Type-C but will also offer micro USB support

USB Type-C is the future, but smartphones like the Xiaomi Mi 4c which are being released in the present face a lot of trouble due to the general unavailability of compatible cables. It’s this problem that the Chinese company will be addressing by bundling its upcoming device with a unique charging cable.

The new Xiaomi Mi 4c will come bundled with a micro USB cable, but will feature a USB Type-C adapter to convert the former into a Type-C connector. This will give users all the benefits of the new USB standard while also minimizing its disadvantages.

This news has been revealed by none other than Xiaomi’s president Lin Bin via his Weibo account, according to Tech Grapple. Only two days back, we had come to know that this product will be sold in the form of two options, with one offering 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and the other grabbing 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
