The last time we heard about the Xiaomi Mi 4c, its specs were shrouded with a layer of ambiguity but that’s not the case this time around. We have been greeted by alleged retail packaging of this upcoming handset, which is giving away crucial details about its offerings.
Prime among them is the fact that it will feature a reversible USB Type-C port. This means it won’t matter how the charging pin is held when it’s being pushed in, since both the sides are right. The 4G LTE supporting Xiaomi Mi 4c looks all set to be the first smartphone from the Chinese company to ship with such a feature.
The image of the retail packaging you can spot in the space below has come via GizmoChina. It is suggesting that the Mi 4c will ship with a Snapdragon 808 chipset onboard. That means a 1.8GHz hexa core processor will be powering its operations, taking assistance from an Adreno 418 GPU.
As for the memory, 2GB worth of RAM has been revealed to be present inside this Xiaomi device. The source suggests that 16GB worth of memory will be present onboard, but there’s also the possibility of a 32GB model being in the works. Of course, a micrSD card slot is absent on this device, just like on the Mi 4i.
Here’s a neater look at the leaked specs of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 4c:
– Display: 5-inch 1080p full HD
– OS: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based MIUI 7
– Processor: 1.8GHz hexa core Snapdragon 808
– GPU: Adreno 418
– Memory: 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB storage
– Cameras: 13MP rear, 5MP front

Whenever it’s out, the Xiaomi Mi 4c will apparently be sold in China at 1299 Yuan. That’s approximately $205 in US currency and Rs 13500 in Indian.
