Xiaomi has finally brought the Mi 4 smartphone to India and it plans to offer the device with 16GB of storage at Rs 19999 and through Flipkart. There’s still no sign of the Tegra K1 powered Mi Pad, however, and we doubt that the company plans to bring it into the country anytime soon.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 will go on sale starting February 10 through the e-commerce website and it’ll follow the same flash sale routine that the company has been using for all of its handsets currently available. The device comes with MIUI V6 out of the box and it runs Android 4.4 KitKat with no mention of when Lollipop will be available.
Hardware-wise, the phone will go toe-to-toe with the OnePlus One that’s currently available for Rs 21999 with 64GB of storage. The Xiaomi phone, however, has only 16GB of memory and the company will make the 64GB model available, but there’s no word on how much it’ll cost or when it’ll go on sale.
The Mi 4 is fitted with a 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 SOC making it slightly faster compared to the MI 3. It also features more memory with 3GB RAM and an improved imaging experience though an 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear shooter. Both sensors come from Sony.
Xiaomi Mi 4 specs roundup:

While February 10 is less than 2 weeks from now, you can register for the first sale from today itself. On a side note, the Redmi 1S has been listed as out of stock and it doesn’t look like there will be any new flash sales going forward. The Redmi Note 4G, on the other hand, will continue to be available via Flipkart.
