Xiaomi has just gone one to announce price cuts for the Mi 4 and Mi 4 Lite models which it is currently selling in China. These affordable high-end smartphones are set to be offered at their reduced retail values from April 8 onwards, albeit only in the company’s home market.
There’s no word on when the price cuts will start appearing in other nations though. GizmoChina has told us that the 16GB variant of the Xiaomi Mi 4 will hereafter be sold at CNY 1799 (approximately Rs 18000 or $290) instead of its old cost of CNY 1999 (approximately Rs 20000 or $322).
There even exists a Lite version of this smartphone which offers 2GB of RAM instead of 3GB. This variant of the Mi 4 will now be offered at CNY 1699 (approximately Rs 17000 or $275) instead of its original asking amount of CNY 1799 (approximately Rs 18000 or $290).
This only leaves out the 64GB model of the Xiaomi Mi 4, and nothing has been said about a price drop for the same yet. The flagship smartphone of the ace Chinese company comes equipped with a host of advanced features that include a 5-inch 1080 full HD display, the Snapdragon 801 chipset, a 13MP main camera, an 8MP front snapper and more.
