Xiaomi has expanded its Mi 11 series with the launch of the all new Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Lite today. Apart from these, the company also took the covers of two variants of the Mi Smart Band 6, both of which will hit the market on April 2.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has a price tag of CNY 5,999 for its 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. It’ll be CNY 6,499 CNY 6,999 for its 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB versions, respectively.
This 5G device boasts of a 6.81-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. A selfie cam of 20MP peeks out of its punch-hole style display.
As expected of a flagship, the Mi 11 Ultra packs in a Snapdragon 888 processor with LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1 storage. The main photography setup consists of a 50MP GN2 main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens
This IP68 dust- and water-resistant phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast wired and wireless charging. It also supports reverse wireless charging and runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11.
One of design highlights of this handset is the always-on, secondary display on its back panel that can also act as a sort of mirror for users while they take selfies.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will be out in three configurations of 8GB RAM/128GB ROM at CNY 4,999, 8GB RAM/256GB ROM for CNY 5,299, and 12GB RAM/256ROM for CNY 5,699.
The Mi 11 Pro is much like the Mi 11 Ultra with a few key differences. The former has a 6.81-inch AMOLED 2K punch-hole screen with a 120Hz refresh rate — protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Supporting 5G bands, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, MIUI 12 based on Android 11, and a 5,000mAh battery with turbo charging (wired and wireless), and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The IP68 dust- and water-resistant handset sports a 20MP front camera. Its back panel — hosting a 50MP camera with a Samsung GM2 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens — does not feature a secondary sensor.
Mi 11 Lite 5G
Lastly, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G is priced at CNY 2,299 and CNY 2,599 for the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants, in that order.
Instead of Snapdragon 888, the Mi 11 Lite integrates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G chip. The device boasts of 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2, with support for added storage of 512GB via its microSD card slot.
The front of the phone is taken up by a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and embeds a 20MP punch-hole selfie camera.
The rear panel is taken up by a triple camera module consisting of a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro sensor. The Mii 11 Lite has a 4,250mAh battery which supports up to 33W fast charging.
