Xiaomi has launched the Tegra K1 powered Mi Pad in India on the cheap

After months of repeated assurance, the Xiaomi Mi Pad has finally been made official for India and the company plans to sell the device through Flipkart from March 24. Here’s the best part – The tablet will be super cheap with a price of just Rs 12999 and you will not have to deal with flash sales or registrations of any kind to get hold of it.

This basically means that the Xiaomi Mi Pad will be openly available to all customers. The slate was previously expected to make its debut back in December, but was further delayed due to certification and other formalities. It’s one of the few devices on the market to carry the Tegra K1 chip from Nivida which is also available on the Shield tablet.
