Xbox One Kinect bundle’s price dropped

As part of a limited time promotional offer, Microsoft has dropped the price of its Xbox One with Kinect bundle in the US, Canada and Mexico. Moreover, those wishing to by just the motion sensor itself also have a deal lined up for them.

The Xbox One with Kinect bundle includes a 500GB version of the console, a controller, a Kinect sensor and game downloads of Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon. It will be sold in the US, Canada and Mexico at $399, $449 CAD and $7999, respectively for a limited period of time.

That’s a $100 cut in the price that was unveiled earlier this month. It should be noted that the Kinect-less bundle of the Xbox One will still be sold at $349, whereas the fresh 1TB variant will be seen going at $499. As for the separate Kinect accessory, this product’s asking amount has been dropped to $99 from $149.

These reductions in the retail values of Microsoft’s gaming products are in preparation for the holiday season shopping rush. Although the company hasn’t mentioned the exact period for which they will stay active, we’re guessing that they will remain intact until the end of December.

It was recently announced that the Xbox One console will be blessed with an update soon that will allow gamers to fire up their Xbox 360 games on it. Moreover, this upgrade will even bless the system with a fresh user interface that will be highlighted by Microsoft’s Cortana personal digital assistant.
