The beta version of the highly anticipated next generation operating system from Microsoft, the Windows 7, has been leaked on the internet and is now available for download on various BitTorrent sites.
It was initially said to be spotted on the popular BitTorrent site The Pirate Bay but has now spread across other file sharing sites aswell.
Windows 7 will be the successor of the popular Vista operating system.
The Windows 7 Beta 1 Build 7000 torrent on The Pirate Bay has already been downloaded by thousands of users and currently has 5079 seeders and 13356 leeechers. The torrent is a disk image of the 32-bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate – Build 7000.
Though there is no official announcement from Microsoft, the Windows beta 7 is expected to be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2009. Also the beta version of the OS should officially be officially available for download around end of 2009 or early 2010.

Great news, though I’d wait until Microsoft release it (just a few days away). This way, you’ll get faster download speeds, and no spy ware (except the obvious). ;)
