Western Digital launches My Book Mirror Edition Storage System

My Book Mirror Edition Western Digital has launched My Book Mirror Edition, a dual-drive storage systems that stores data twice automatically. The idea of dual drives is developed to offer users an additional safety for their sensitive data. This RAID-based continuous data protection feature is known as mirroring.

The My Book Mirror Edition drive is especially ideal storage solution for photographers, home users and small offices, who require to keep their data safe. Moreover, the system comes along with backup software, which continuously takes back up of users’ personal computers.

Also, the My Book Mirror Edition cares for the environment by consuming approximately one-third less power than standard dual-drive external storage systems. Besides, it features efficient convection cooling architecture and power-saving mode.
