The new generation of WD My Passport hard drives is here and they’re offering up to 2TB of storage in a single device. Dressed in five attractive colors and various memory options, this gadget range comes with a minimum hoarding capacity of 500GB.

The device is available in textured hues like blue, silver, red, white, and black. Equipped with the WD SmartWare automatic backup software, each new My Passport drive provides password protection and hardware encryption through the WD Security system. Its external surface has been designed to resist scratches and fingerprints.

Technical specifications of these storage drives include USB 3.0 connectivity that’s compatible with the USB 2.0 interface and many more. The embedded software allows user to customize it according to their preference by installing all features or just the components required. It also offers a choice of accessing the drive without utilizing the pre-loaded application.

The WD My Passport 2TB hard drive price is declared to be $249.99. The 500GB, 750GB, 1TB and 1.5TB variants can be grabbed for $129.99, $149.99, $179.99 and $199.99, respectively.
