The WD My Book VelociRaptor Duo is a robust dual-drive system that claims to feature two hard drives as well as 2 Thunderbolt ports. The device meant for Mac OS X-based computers is integrated with 2 10,000RPM HDDs to offer 2TB storage.
This newest member of the My Book clan is said to be apt for some demanding media applications which include high resolution video editing, graphic designing and 3D rendering. This dual-drive storage system’s JBOD option comes in handy for Mac computers that operate on the Windows platform. It can support multi-stream workflows and is even compliant with Apple Time Machine and HFS + Journaled for Mac systems.
The WD My Book VelociRaptor Duo HDD price and availability information has been revealed. It is now up for sale through authorized retailers and the official company website for $899.99 with a three-year limited warranty.
