The Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and 620 release date for the UK has been revealed for Vodafone, and they come to the carrier tomorrow with a touch of Windows Phone 8. Just a few days ago we saw two of the above devices launched in the country via Three, and now they continue to proliferate through the nation.
The Lumia 920 is Nokia’s flagship WP8 smartphone and comes with an 8.7MP PureView camera on the back. This snapper brings along a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and a dual LED flash, as well as auto focus with a two-stage capture key, for images in a wide variety of situations. There is also a 1.2MP front-facing webcam for video conferencing.
It is 4G-ready and packs considerably high-end specs. There’s a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU running at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, as well as Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth connectivity options. Qi wireless charging is definitely a nice hing to have, and a 2000mAh battery is included to power the device.
The 820 on the other hand is a slightly lower model but it also comes with the wireless charging capability through specific shells. Other hardware components include a 1GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 chip, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be taken up to 64GB via an externally supplied memory card.
Battery capacity is considerably less with just a 1650mAh unit built in, but photography enthusiasts will be pleased to find an 8MP camera on the back and a 4.3-inch ClearBlack display on the front. This imager also comes with the same lens technology as the above device as well as a dual LED flash and a two-stage capture key.
Finally, the 620 is the tiniest of the three and fits nicely into the palm. It compact form factor is not one to shy away from the live tiles that come with Microsoft’s mobile platform. It too has a 1GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, although only 5GB is user-accessible.
So to recap, the Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and 620 will come to Vodafone tomorrow, February 6, 2013. As its stands, price information hasn’t been revealed.
