The Vivo Xplay 5 Elite is a smartphone which has 6GB of RAM inside it. While you try and wrap your mind around the fact, let us tell you that this new handset from the Chinese company comes equipped with other highly advanced specifications as well.
Vivo has also launched a new Xplay 5 device which is nothing but a slightly downgraded version of the Elite model. You must have already noticed that these phones are blatantly stealing the looks of the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy S7, with their metal sides, curved displays and rear surfaces.
Vivo Xplay 5 Elite has grabbed a dual curved 5.43-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED panel like the one on Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge. It’s got a fingerprint scanner on its rear surface, and is powered by the combination of a quad core Snapdragon 820 processor and of course, 6GB worth of RAM.
Here’s a quick glance at the specs of the Vivo Xplay 5 and its Elite model:
– Display: 5.43-inch Super AMOLED, Quad HD resolution
– OS: Android 5.1 Lollipop
– Processor: Octa core Snapdragon 652/Quad core Snapdragon 820 (Elite)
– GPU: Adreno 510/Adreno 530 (Elite)
– Memory: 4GB/6GB (Elite) RAM, 128GB storage
– Cameras: 16MP rear, 8MP front
– Battery: 3600mAh
It does not offer a microSD card slot, but does deliver 128GB of storage. The Android Lollipop device features a 16MP Sony IMX298 camera on its back and an 8MP selfie snapper on its front. A 3600mAh battery can be found powering it from within.
Coming to the Vivo Xplay 5, it maintains the same display, battery, camera setup and storage of the Elite model, but adopts an octa core Snapdragon 652 CPU and 4GB of RAM to save some costs.
