Vivo’s IPL-themed V5 Plus Limited Edition has officially gone up for sale in India a couple of days after getting announced. The brand had initially kept mum on the handset’s price, but has now revealed that it will set buyers back by Rs 25990.
Interested customers can head to offline stores, Vivo outlets, and Flipkart to get their hands on the V5 Plus Limited Edition. The e-commerce site is bundling an extra Rs 2000 off on exchange, potentially allowing for a sizable Rs 18000 cut down to Rs 7990. There’s also a 5% discount for Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders.
Interestingly, the original V5 Plus currently goes for Rs 27990, a tad more expensive than its newer counterpart. Noticeable differences between the two include the latter’s gold-embossed 18-carat Vivo-IPL logo and matte black color. It also features a few preloaded IPL-related apps.
Other than the fresh coat of paint, the highlight of the Vivo phone remains its 20MP primary and 8MP secondary front cameras. The first is supposed to capture high-resolution snaps, while the second records depth-of-field information. Combined, the duo is supposed to give way for post-production tools like bokeh effects.
