Vivo has released two new smartphones for dedicated music enthusiasts in the form of the X6S and X6S Plus. The handsets sport nearly the same design language as its predecessors and bear a striking similarity to the iPhone 6S.
This time round, the Vivo X6S and X6S Plus carry better audio capabilities than its previous variants. The former offers an AKM4375 32-bit DAC and the latter goes for an ES9028 DAC and a YAMAHA YSS-205X audio processor. Even the phones internals have gone through a significant overhaul, with the previous MediaTek chipset getting substituted by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 SoC.
Another major upgrade can be seen in the photography department of the X6S Plus. The device now carries a 16MP rear camera which has been equipped with PDAF to focus on photos within 0.6 seconds. However, the X6S packs the same 13MP main snapper as its predecessor.
The Vivo phones can also be distinguished based on its size and battery. The X6S flaunts a 5.2-inch super AMOLED full HD screen and a 2400mAh powerhouse, while the X6S Plus carries a larger 5.7-inch display and 3000mAh unit. Most other specifications appear to be the same across the two.
Take a look at the main specs of the Vivo X6S Plus:
– Display: 5.7-inch super AMOLED, 1080 x 1980 pixels
