The Galaxy Victory 4G LTE smartphone has been on Sprint’s network for over 5 months now and it this Samsung device is all geared up to hop onto Virgin Mobile’s LTE service for a price of $299.99. According to the carrier, the handset is its first 4G enabled Android smartphone and it is currently available sans any contract commitment.

The device operates on the version 4.1 Jelly Bean platform. Along with rich entertainment features, the handset also comes with services such as Google Now which tags along contextual search, S Beam that allows users to share content like video files, photos, documents and more over NFC by simply tapping the rear of 2 compatible devices together, amongst others.

Looking at the handset’s design, the company has crafted it around dimensions of 4.8 x 2.5 x 0.46 inches. With an overall weight of 4.9 ounces, the handset tags along various features. Carrying the load on the inside is a dual core Qualcomm MSM8960 that has a clock speed of 1.2GHz. On the outside, visuals are delivered through a WVGA touchscreen that spans 4 inches wide. A 1.3MP camera is situated above the display, allowing users to take self-portraits and commence live face-to-face calls over Wi-Fi and 4G LTE.

The rear features a 5MP snapper that can record videos in 720p HD. This lens is accompanied by various attributes like AF, Panorama, Geo-tagging and Video Share. Powering up all components is a 2100mAh Li-ion battery. According to the company, the device is capable of delivering up to 9 days of standby or approximately 7 hours of talktime on a single charge.

The device can currently be purchased in gray via the provider’s online store and it is expected to reach national retail and dealers by mid-March.
