Videocon has just announced the launch of its new smartphone, the Infinium Z50 Quad which comes equipped with a 5-inch display and the Android 4.4 KitKat OS. This handset will be sold in black and white color options at Rs 7349, and it offers dual SIM support which is an extremely demanded feature in India.
As its name suggests, the Videocon Infinium Z50 Quad runs on a quad core processor which has its clock speed set at 1.3GHz. This CPU is provided assistance in its operations by 1GB worth of RAM. While 8GB of built-in storage has been granted to the device as well, there’s even a microSD card slot present on it for further expansions of up to 32GB.
The 5-inch display on this Videocon phone is of the IPS type, and it showcases its visuals in a qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. On its rear surface rests a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, while the front has been blessed with a 2MP webcam.
Basic connectivity features aside, the Infinium Z50 Quad also kicks in support for FM radio. A 1900mAh battery powers it from within, keeping it going in between charging intervals.
