Hungama Mobile has announced its tie up with Dailymotion, an independent video entertainment website. As a result the Dailymotion will soon enter in the Indian market. Also Hungama Mobile plans to make Dailymotion community available on mobile phones.
Dailymotion is a YouTube competitor, which allows users to upload their videos online and share them with friends and relatives. Users can upload as much as 20 minutes long videos for free. While, video sharing web site also offers MotionMaker program promoting creativity of the users.
Speaking on the occasion, Neeraj Roy, MD and CEO, Hungama Mobile said, “We are delighted to partner with Dailymotion which has already made a significant presence globally in a limited time of 3 years. We believe that platforms such Dailymotion would be ideal for discovering video content across UGC, creative and premium licensed and we would like to enable that across internet and mobile. As of now, launch date of Dailymotion in the Indian market has not been announced.
