Verizon’s Samsung Ativ SE leaked again, this time in a new shade

Earlier this week, detailed press images of the Samsung Ativ SE which is destined for launch in the US exclusively through Verizon, made it online and now, fresh renders showing the handset in a new shade have been posted as well.

The latest images come courtesy of EvLeaks who’s also responsible for leaking previous press renders of the Samsung Ativ SE. The latest ones show the smartphone in a slightly darker shade which will most likely be called titanium grey, while the previous picture has the handset drenched in bright silver. Samsung has gone for a brushed metal look for the device, but the form factor will most likely be plastic and not metal, just like the rumored Galaxy Beam 2.

A previous benchmark listing and various leaks have provided quite a bit of information about the phone. What we know so far is that the device will have 4G LTE support on Verizon and it’s said to come with a quad core Qualcomm processor and Adreno 305 graphics. Based on this, we can assert that the Ativ SE will have the Snapdragon 400 onboard and not the low-end 200 chipset as previously reported. Apart from this, the device will carry a 5-inch 1080p display, possibly AMOLED, 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM, making it quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4, not to mention that both smartphones look almost identical as well.

No release date is currently available for the Samsung Ativ SE, but we look forward seeing it go official at the Build 2014 conference next month where two new Nokia phones will also be unveiled.

Here’s a quick look at the specs:

– Windows Phone 8.1 OS
– 5-inch 1080p display
– 2GB RAM, 16GB storage
– 4G LTE
– Quad core Snapdragon 400 SOC
– 13MP rear camera
