Motorola and Verizon are all set to unveil their new Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 handsets on October 27, but before they could provide us with details regarding these smartphones, a few have crept our way already thanks to a leak. The information has been revealed by images of promotional materials of these two handsets.
The Verizon Droid Turbo 2 will apparently feature a ‘shatterproof’ display on its front, giving it a very brawny persona. If you recall, this is the same smartphone which had leaked recently in the form of the Moto X Force. That’s the name which will be given to the device in markets outside the US.
The leaked promo materials which have come via Droid Life, are saying that this new Motorola offering will feature support for Moto Maker as well. Moreover, as a promotional activity, it will be sold with trade-ins of phones with cracked displays, offering customers up to $300 towards their new Droid Turbo 2 units.
Those wondering about the Droid Maxx 2 should know that this phone is nothing but the Moto X Play with the Verizon branding. It will boast of 48-hour battery life thanks to its incorporation of a 3630mAh power pack.
