Verizon Nokia Lumia 929 puts in an appearance on the web

A certain Nokia Lumia 929 is coming soon in the US via Verizon and although we do not know much about the gadget, rumor has it that the device is nothing but a variant of the yet-to-be released Lumia 1520. Press shots of both the front and the rear panels of the smartphone have been leaked and if the number of Live Tiles on the screen is anything to go by, then the device is definitely the proud owner of a huge display. The pictures have been let out by none other than @evleaks and it’s the guys over at The Verge who have found out through undisclosed sources that this phone is slated to hit the carrier’s stores sometime before the end of this year.

Unlike the Lumia 1520, the 929 will not have a 6-inch touchscreen, but we are expecting nothing less than a 5-inch one. This phone is arriving in shades of black and white and is most likely to render high definition 1080p visuals. It is 4G LTE-enabled and sports a 20MP PureView camera with flash.

Nokia will be hosting a press event on October 22 and the grapevine has been buzzing with speculations that along with the Lumia 1520, a Sirius Windows tablet is on the cards as well. Their pictures have also surfaced on the web along with some of the specifications. We will have to wait for an official announcement before we believe any of those though.

The Nokia Lumia 929 by Verizon Wireless will be up for grabs in this quarter itself, but its pricing and exact release date details are not known as yet.
