Two free mobile games for the weekend: Plants vs. Zombies 2 and Bad Piggies as zombies

You can stop twiddling your thumbs and wondering what to do with them now. The weekend’s upon us and there are two games which can keep you entertained between whatever else you do on weekends – Plants vs. Zombies 2 and the Bag Piggies Tusk ‘til Dawn Halloween special.

The best thing about them? You can download them for free through Google Play Store and iTunes (scroll down for the source links). In case you missed Rovio’s Bad Piggies Tusk ‘til Dawn update, it’s got 30 new levels and treats you to a world created with cakes and candy.

Plants vs. Zombies 2

It’s your job to help the zombie pigs build the most feasible mode of transport that will take them to the King Pig’s candy hoard. That’s right, we said zombie pigs. Remember the time PopCap insisted “We’d rather eat our own brains than not have you play the game too,” while talking about Plants Vs. Zombies 2 coming to Android?

Well, it has arrived. The game was first launched for iOS back in August and it may have debuted late on Android, but we’d say it’s just in time for Halloween. Maybe you can even try some of these alternatives? Bent on baiting zombies in keeping with the season? How about checking out Into the Dead, Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies, Zombie Highway or Dead Trigger 2?

Here’s where to get Plants vs. Zombies 2 for Android and for iOS. Bad Piggies can be downloaded from Google Play by hitting this link and from iTunes via this link.
