We have word that the HTC Desire C is now on sale in the UK through mobile network bigwig Three. The phone is available at retail or online via the company’s UK website and can be purchased in two schemes – a pay monthly and a pay as you go scheme.
On the back panel of the Desire C is a 5-megapixel camera, while on the flip side, for easy viewing, is a 3.5-inch display. Users’ needs should be met with relative ease since the phone is powered by a 600MHz single core processor. This means that browsing the internet and switching between apps shouldn’t be a problem.
One the occasion of the announcement, Sylvia Chind, head of handsets at Three, commented, “The HTC Desire C is a great all-rounder with a really powerful battery life, meaning that people can stream videos and music to their heart’s content over Three’s fast network.”
A neat phone with 4GB internal memory, the Desire C runs on Ice Cream Sandwich and features Beats Audio technology to provide decent music quality out of the box. The company’s pay as you go scheme will cost £149.99.
The HTC Desire C is available on a monthly scheme for as low as £13 a month with no payment upfront. The Ultimate Internet 100 plan gives users all the data they wish over the internet, plus 100 UK voice minutes, 5000 UK text messages for 24 months at £13 a month.
Other plans include the One Plan also for a period of 24 months at £28 a month with 2000 UK voice minutes, 5000 minutes of Three-to-Three calls, plus 5000 UK texts in addition to ‘all-you-can-eat’ data.
