Tascam DR-1 Portable Digital Recorder Tascam has launched the innovative DR-1 Portable Digital Recorder, which is essentially a compact unit that has the ability to capture hours of music with its integrated stereo condenser mics onto its 1GB SD card.

The recorder can record from practically anywhere thanks to the pair of microphones that are mounted on a variable angle mechanism. Tascam DR-1 supports recordings done in the MP3 and WAVE file formats. In addition, the device features auto gain control and analog limiting for convenient setup along with a low-frequency cutoff to do away with handling or wind noise.
