The Samsung Galaxy S5 is just a few days away from hitting stores in the US and if you’re looking for a neat deal to get the latest flagship, Target’s trade-in program for the smartphone in question is one place to look at. The retailer will offer the handset at just $100 provided you bring in one of your old devices.
Just so you know, you will have to sign up for a contract as the retailer is offering carrier versions of the device. You can however, choose between Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. You can head over to the promo page to locate a near-by retail store and check whether your device qualifies for the trade-in. If you are a Verizon customer and looking to pick up multiple units, then Big Red has an offer you won’t be able to resist.
The carrier announced that it will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S5 with a BOGO deal. You can purchase the smartphone for $249.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate and get a second unit for just $50 that will be reimburse via a rebate card as well. This basically means that you will be paying just $199.99 for two Galaxy S5s without trading in anything.
Speaking of Verizon, this carrier-specific model will come with anti-theft tools pre-installed. They include Find my Mobile and Reactivation Lock. You can find more information on these features by clicking here.
Phone Arena points out that the Target trade-in program will start on April 11 and end on the 19th.
