T-Mobile is now all set to offer yet another LG tablet in the form of the G Pad X 8.0 which will of course come with LTE support onboard. This slate is scheduled to hit the carrier in May, and is likely to grab a price tag of $300.
LG has already launched two other G Pad X models in the US via other carriers. Variants named 8.3 and 8.0 can be bought via AT&T and Verizon. And now, T-Mobile has gotten into the game as well with its Pad X 8.0.
As its name suggests, this tablet has an 8-inch display featuring a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. At its heart will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with its 1.5GHz octa core processor and its Adreno 405 GPU.
Here’s a good look at the LG G Pad X 8.0:
– Display: 5–inch, 1920 x 1200 pixels
– OS: Android Lollipop
– Processor: 1.5GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615
– GPU: Adreno 405
– Cameras: 5MP rear, 5MP front
– Battery: 4650mAh
Powering the entire assembly will be a 4650mAh battery. A unique thing about the Pad X 8.0 is that it will house a full size USB port for connecting thumb drives directly to it, as revealed by Venture Beat.
A 5MP camera will be making its way to its front surface, whereas a 5MP shooter will be found on its rear as well. Both LG and T-Mobile haven’t spoken about this tablet yet, but we assume they’ll be doing that closer to launch.
Similar tablets offered by AT&T and Verizon have different specs, but they do both adopt the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset. They both kick in full size USB ports as well moreover.
These are all the details we have about T-Mobile’s LG G Pad X 8.0 for now. We’ll have more on it when additional information is out.
