The LG G Pad is back in the news again, and this time around, we have a few of its essential details to speculate about. For starters, a new leak has pointed out that this apparent tablet from the South Korean manufacturer will come equipped with an 8.3-inch display on its front surface, proffering a full HD plus resolution, just like the new Nexus 7 from Google. Besides, you won’t have to wait long in order to get your eyes on this product, as it is expected to be unveiled as early as in September at this year’s IFA in Berlin.
News about the Retina display that will supposedly form part of the LG G Pad has come via a Greek site called TechBlog (via Phone Arena). Leaked information also indicates the presence of a quad core processor, though without details of its clock speed or make. Moreover, 2GB worth of RAM is also said to have been granted to the slate. It is reportedly a slim and lightweight tablet bearing a minimal side bezel. Sources have quoted it to be so compact that it can easily slip into back pockets.
Unlike the Nexus 7, the LG G Pad is expected to be a voice calling tablet. This will put it in direct competition with the Galaxy Note 510. And while the latter device features a stylus in the form its S Pen, LG is less likely to go for the alternate input device for its supposed slab.
The LG G Pad is being predicted to be gearing up for an IFA unveiling. We’ll bring you more about it as soon as concrete details are out.
