With no fair usage policy or speed restrictions being strung along, the T-Mobile Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan is slated to be launched starting next month in the US. What’s more, potential users currently on Classic or Value tariffs will be able to conveniently upgrade to this offer for a ‘worry-free’ unrestricted data experience.
The new addition to the carrier’s subscription schemes is aimed at data-hungry users who want to make the most of their smartphones and even at those who do not keep frequent track of their data consumption. The company states that the Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan can be adopted in several ways including the aforementioned ones.
“We’re big believers in customer-driven innovation, and our Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan is the answer to customers who are frustrated by the cost, complexity and congested networks of our competitors,” expressed Kevin McLaughlin, vice president, marketing, T-Mobile USA. “Consumers want the freedom of unlimited 4G data. Our bold move to be the only wireless carrier to offer an Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan reinforces our value leadership and capitalizes on the strength of our nationwide 4G network.”
Fresh customers can opt for this plan by picking up a new smartphone from the carrier. They can even bring in their own devices that are compatible with the provider’s 4G network. Back in July 2011, the company launched similar ‘worry-free’ plans that not only aimed to deliver unlimited data, but also help users cut down their annual subscription expenses in comparison to competing carriers.
The T-Mobile Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data price amounts to $20 per month when combined with a Value voice and text subscription, or $30 per month if clubbed with a Classic voice and text plan. The offer is scheduled to go live in the US starting September 5, 2012, and it will be available through retail stores and online.
